Good Flying Days

On right crosswind, coming off of 15R in Santa Barbara, looking back over UCSB and the coast. On days like this, it's fun to stay in the pattern and practice shorts and softs.
Nice, cool, clear fall day in Lake Tahoe. Density altitude only about 7000 ft, just about the length of the runway.

Half Moon Bay, just south of San Francisco. The really cool thing about this airport is that you can park the plane at the approach end of runway 30, and walk to downtown Princeton by the Sea for a bite to eat. The best restaurant is The Shorebird. They serve real food, the other restaurants serve fried fish.

The Golden Gate. Kinda hazy day. I just finished scud running under the San Francisco Class B airspace. The view is better under 1500 ft anyway.
