The courts at Stanford's Echo Lake Resort. I found a second use for old tennis balls (besides feeding them to my dog). Old dead balls suddenly come to life at this altitude.
Nice, cool, clear fall day in Lake Tahoe. Density altitude only about 7000 ft. You barely touch the balls and they go flying.

One of the strangest places to play tennis is at the Furnace Creek Inn in Death Valley. The place even has a tennis pro. The best time to play tennis is from November to February, the rest of the year is just tooooooo hot.

Nothing better than hanging around the swimmin' pool after a long day of tennis in Death Valley
